About Kate
Hi I'm Katelyn, nice to meet ya! Ohio born and Texas raised, I'm aching to travel, and possibly move to, a big city far away from the hottest place on Earth (aka Dallas).
Just a few important facts about myself:
- Diet Coke is my jam. It is always my drink of choice.
- As trendy as it is for someone to be obsessed with cats, it is no joke to me. Crazy cat lady until I die, and that's a promise. (I mean really, in this post alone are two pictures of me dressed up as a cat...)
- I have a lot of ambition and drive, and I'm trying to cram a lot of experiences into my last year of college, so I tend to be a little scatterbrained in that respect.
- I draw, a lot (and not well, might I add). But, it's something I really enjoy, and that's a good enough reason to me!
- Black is my favorite. While it might not technically be a color, it definitely is my favorite color. If they sell it in black, I guarantee that's what I'll chose. Every single time.
I'm studying Merchandising and Digital Retailing (and a
little bit of Marketing) at the University of North Texas, and I plan on
graduating in May of 2016. I have completed one internship so far, at a
small boutique located in Southlake/Roanoke, Texas, called Kiki LaRue.
I'm hoping to obtain another internship or be accepted into a training
program before graduation.
This
blog will feature posts about many different topics, but mostly my love
for fashion and merchandising, projects from my college career,
lookbooks, internship advice, and many posts about things I wish people
had told me before I started college.
